To get the teeniest tiniest details I use fineliner pens with a line width of only 0.15mm!
Right from the beginning I fell in love with pen & ink. The more I drew, the more my unique style began to appear. Aspects of which are inspired by old engravings, for their stunning rendering of form through contouring; and silver point drawings, for their beautifully subtle changes in tone. I strive to make all of my drawings visually stimulating both from a distance and up close. The use of hatching, as opposed to crosshatching, allows me to showcase the shapes I've created within the areas of tone.
I have also been known to use dip pens with a range of ink colours.
Currently I am enjoying using the technique of stippling white ink from a gel pen onto black paper 🔎
